How do our trials and our suffering and our super challenging tests, make any sense with a loving God?

Surely if God truly loves us, He would spare us from all the hardships and the difficult times we experience throughout our lifetime, right? No, not right!

I suppose if we think we know better than the creator of the whole universe, then it may seem natural for us to conjure up how we feel God should respond to all our pain & tribulations. Therein lies the problem with our premise … that we know better than God.

Everyone puts their faith in someone, or something. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people reject the Jesus of the Bible, and choose to make up their own version up of a God that suits them better … ultimately themselves.

1 Peter 1:5-7 says,

“And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.”

Good Friday is only a few days away … and what better time to put your faith and trust into the only One true God who is eager to accept you into His forever family?!
