People don’t plan to fail … we fail to plan!

Our mission is,

“To encourage believers to know Jesus a little better each and every day, and to make Him known to those who are lost in the broken world around us.”

Psalm 119:11 says,

“I have hidden your word in my heart,
    that I might not sin against you.”

Since the first part of our mission statement is a call to action, I’d like to encourage each one of you to consider making a daily commitment to do what Psalm 119:11 says by choosing a specific verse every day and focusing on it throughout the day.

It may help to have a consistent ‘memory buddy,’ so moving forward I will be using my blog to help remind us all the importance of meditating on God’s Word … and how that simple (not easy) discipline will help us know Jesus a little better every day.

You’re welcome to pick verses or even passages of Scripture that are speaking to you to focus on … or, use the verse(s) that I’ll be posting.

Also, I’ve found it helpful to actually write out the verse on a 3’ by 5’ card and carry it around with me so I can refer to it throughout my busy day … in order to help me get it to sink into my mind & my soul.
